With a deft climb or a well-aimed throw, fresh dates fell from the trees, ready to satisfy their hunger. For others, dates symbolize solidarity and hospitality, a reminder of Ramadan in Egypt, where dates were distributed everywhere on the streets at sunset to break the fast together. A simple gesture, yet full of warmth and connection.
The taste of truly fresh dates from our childhood is deeply ingrained in our memories—not just for their pure sweetness, but also for the experience surrounding them. We found dates in the Netherlands, but they lacked the freshness, quality, and story we knew.
